Do You Dare?

It has been another busy week for Mr. Sexbox here.........but first things first.

Do you have some secret desire (the naughtier the better!) that no one knows about and that so far you have never dared to do it? Well, let me tell you about my secret desire/fantasy........warning though, it's quite slutty! lol

I have always wanted to get some leather chaps and a leather jock strap and then go dressed like that to a sleazy leather bar! oooh, just the thought of all of the leather daddies grabbing my bare behind gets me excited. However, leather clothing items are very expensive and I can't imagine spending $300 on one outfit for one night. Another thing that would concern me is how does one walk of the house dressed like that??? I can't imagine walking down the street, surely the police would stop me, right? oooh, but that would be a whole other secret fantasy of mine, tee hee!
Hmmm, perhaps if I have extra money this winter I will go ahead and do it. At least that way I could wear a long coat to cover myself before getting to the bar.

The closest I have come to this is wearing a pair of regular pants at an International Mr. Leather event two years ago. IML is heald anually here in Chicago and it is always fun Memorial Day weekend to see all of the leather daddies in Boystown! I am so intrigued by the whole leather culture. I can definitely understand why people find it to be so erotic.

Ok, enough of that.......so let's see, last weekend was pretty good. I went out with Jorge to Hydrate on Friday. I had a blast. Jorge is such an alcoholic though and kept buying drinks for us. Unfortunately, I can't hold my liquor as well as he can. I don't remember much, but apparently I approached some guy in the bathroom who had already hooked up with another guy and I told him "I can do everything he can but 10 times better", oh no! I'm such a man stealing whore! lol. Well, luckily Jorge made sure I got home safely and didn't end up in some stranger's house.

Saturday wasn't that much fun. I had a hangover and I had to work. I went with Freddy, Michael and Juan (aka Juanita La Del Barrio) to Roscoes. Ewwww, it was very boring. At least we went for pizza afterwards. PieHole has the BEST pizza in Chicago, IMO. Unfortunately it is a bit pricey. Freddy was nice enough to pay for everyone's pizza though. He's such a sweetheart :)

Well, I haven't done much else since then. Chicago had some horribly hot days (on Sunday the temperature reached 104F!). I mostly stayed in the house. Well, I am working this upcoming weekend. Maybe I will have something fun to talk about then....

TTFN!

Beefaroni for the weekend!

Well, I am going to be busy this weekend, so before I forget........My Beefaroni Pick Of The Week is..........Mario Lopez!

I have lusted over this man since he was mullet haired "Slater" on the NBC sitcom "Saved By The Bell". My obsession really kicked in when I saw Mario showing off his nice package in speedos for the USA Network movie "The Greg Louganis Story". He is THE PERFECT man IMO. Yum, those pecs, those abs, those thighs, those dimples! Grrr!
Anyhoo, it is a shame his career consists of hosting a pet show on the Animal Planet channel, but if you do want to see one of his cheapie movies, I highly suggest "Outta Time". It's very fun! Or if you want to see Mario take off his shirt alot, try "Eastside".

Tumor Zits!

I just need a second to bitch.
Omigod, there is like 100% humidty today in Chicago and the temperature is like 105 degrees. My hair is a frizzy mess. My face is so greasy that Texaco could drill for oil. I feel soooo gross today. Oooh, and let's not mention this HUGE tumor zit on my chin. I think it needs its own zip code. You know, those kind of zits that you can 'feel' before they reach the surface, they last for like two weeks and get hard as a rock but you can never pop them no matter how hard you squeeze :(
I think I would rather have a cold sore. At least theres medication for that. Tumor zits are just like a bad one night stand that doesn't want to go home......

Ugh, and now Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" was just on the radio. Whatever bitch. It's easy to say "i am beautiful....words can't bring me down" when you are a rich little whore who can afford 500 stylists to keep you looking pretty all day.

Ok, I'm done. I am going to go worry about things more serious than my tumor zits......like world hunger or Paris Hilton or something......

Carne, Huesos Y Tú

Well, it was so nice to finally have a complete day off! Yesterday (Monday), my friend Dany came from Michigan to hang out for the day in Chicago. We hadn't seen eachother in about two years so it was really nice to see him again. I took him to the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry. It was great. It was my second time there this year. I LOVE the "Body Worlds" exhibition. I recommend that exhibition to anyone fascinated by human anatomy. It's basically about 30 different cadavers carefully preserved to show the insides of the human body. I couldn't get the Alaska/Fangoria song "Carne Huesos Y Tú" out of my head the whole time! lol I was a little disappointed though because we went to see the new exhibiton, the U-505 submarine

and supposedly it was included in the price of our general admission ticket, BUT, when we tried to go inside the submarine, we were told we had to buy and additional ticket when we initally entered the museum and that now it was too late. Those assholes should have told us that first!

Ok, after the museum we ate at the Cheesecake Factory in the John Hancock Building. I had slamon and it was yummy! Then we watched "Saw" at my house. Wow, what a scary movie! It gave me nightmares and I am a horror film fanatic!

Hmmm....what else....over the weekend I worked, but I did manage to go with My Milwaukee Sister and Rob to Club 94 in Kenosha,WI. It was fun. My friend is the DJ there and we made sure that he played La Toya Jackson's comeback dancefloor anthem, "Just Wanna Dance"! Don't ask me how I woke up for work the next morning.....

Oh, and finally, today I purchased Thalia's newest album "El Sexto Sentido" featuring the single, "Amar Sin Costillas", oops, I mean "Amar Sin Ser Amada". Let me tell you the album was very dissapointing. In fact I haven't been this dissapointed since, well, her awful english album! Oh well.....

My Big Fat Greek Diva

Ugh, so this week has been so busy for me. I had promised to help out during the freshmen orientation this week at my university to help promote the Pre-Pharmacy club. So that meant two days I had to sacrifice extra sleep. I'm grumpy and tired now that it's Friday. Hopefully I can leave work early tonight.
Fortunately, UIC is located near Greektown, so after I was finished today with the freshemn orientation, I walked over to the Greek Town Music shop and picked up the latest album by one of my favorite Greek Divas, Helena Paparizou. Isn't she hot???? If only I was straight, lol. Anyhoo, I had this particular album but Helena won this year's Eurovison song contest (apparently it's a big thing in Europe, click on the link.) and the album was re-released throughout Europe with several of her Greek hits translated to English plus a few new tunes and remixes. I can't wait to listen to it. Helena isn't new to Eurovison though. She used to be part of a duo called "Antique". They won the 2001 Eurovison contest. They were very much like a Greek Sentidos Opuestos but last year Helena decided to go solo.

Well, as for the weekend, I plan on going to Club 94 in Kenosha aka Kenowhere, WI with my Milwaukee Sister. A good friend of mine is the DJ there and he has promised to play a song by La Toya Jackson if I show up. I have this obsession with La Toya Jackson, you see. I think she is possibly one of the campiest and funnest singers to ever walk the face of the earth! Most people know very little about La Toya and often laugh at me when I say I am a fan, but seriously, her 80's music is pure funk/dance bliss! She has a new album in the works that should be released soon. Trust me, it's going to be the album we wish Janet would make! lol
Oh, and my username is actually an ode to one of La Toya's early 90's top 25 hits in Holland, "Sexbox". Hmmmm, maybe I will have to post a few clips of her songs one day so you guys can feel her funk!

Ok, well, I will be sure to report back on Monday. oooh, I almost forgot, another friend of mine from out of town is coming to Chicago this Monday. His name is Dany and we met on MSN about three years ago. I haven't seen him in about two years though. It should be fun. He's very cool. He's chilango and let me tell you I don't think I have ever met someone that uses la neta or chido so many times in one sentence! lol. I love it!

Gotta go!

Paso A Paso

So after I finished my volunteer work this morning at the Howard Brown Clinic I drove to Coconuts to get the new Luis Fonsi album, "Paso A Paso". This is Luis's 6th studio album (I don't count the Remix album) and it is great! It is probably his most rock infused effort to date. I personally think the first single, "nada es para siempre" doesn't represent the album well. I think "Por Una Mujer" or "Estoy Perdido" would have been better picks. We don't get to see Luis do such fast, uptempo songs like that very often. Either way though he is great and by looking at the credits, he was quite involved in the writing of this album.

I discovered Luis Fonsi back in 2000 when he appeared on Christina Uglyera's spanish album. I immediately fell in love with his voice (i guess i'm not the typical fag that doesn't like boy singers, lol). I definitely think he is a step above the other male spanish pop singers (Yahir, Tiziano Ferro, etc). Luis has that extra something those losers don't.

Now let me be superficial for a second......I was overjoyed when I bought his "Eterno" album and found out that he was a hottie too! grrrrr! I declare Luis Fonsi this week's Beefaroni! Here is a rare promo pic I found online. Yum! I have never seen Luis Fonsi show so much skin. He always tries to keep a clean cut good boy image, but grrr, I wish I was Admari Lopez! lol

This S**t is Bananas!

This past weekend was alot better than my July 4th weekend! A dear friend of mine whom I have known since I was 14, Michelle, came to town to spend the weekend. She lives in Milwaukee (I guess you could say she's my anatomically correct Milwaukee Sister, lol) but comes to Chicago about twice a year to hang out. We always try to go to the touristy places. It gives her a chance to do something new and I get to discover more about my adopted hometown! This weekend we went to the Shedd Aquarium. Wow! I had never been there before and I must say I was impressed. If you are visting Chicago or live here, I definitely recomend you go there. Michelle and I were a little bitter though. We thought we were going to see some sharks but for some odd reason we completely missed that section and when we realized it, it was too late to go back. Oh well :(
We did get to see the new "Crab" exhibit though. I kept saying to Michelle, "see, this is why we get so itchy down there all the time" lol.

After the museum we ate and TGI Friday's, our favorite restaurant and saw War Of The Worlds.

I used to be a HUGE fan of the 80's tv show loosely based on the 1953 film and HG Wells novel, so I had to see this movie. I must say, it was very good! There were a few parts of the movie that were very hard to believe, but overall I loved it and can't wait to buy the DVD.

Of course, no weekend is complete without ALCOHOL! The night before we had met my Milwaukee Sister, Rob, and José (aka Armando aka La Niña Fresa) at Sidetracks. We (or should I say I) finished getting trashed at Roscoes. I was the only one getting drunk, so I was a little bummed about that. It's no fun to get drunk alone, but oh well! It was still nice to be out. On Saturday I dragged Michelle back to Roscoes to hang out with some other friends.

Finally on Sunday we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo. Ummm, I have heard that several animals have died there recently and that animal rights activists have been questioning the treatment the animals recieve. Well, I must say, most of the animals were either hiding or looked quite bitchy! Perhaps they they thought this shit was bananas....b-a-n-a-n-a-s.

So now I am exhausted and back at work! Wow, after all that walking this weekend my knees are killing me. My knees haven't hurt this bad since.....ummmm, nevermind.

Anyhoo, tomorrow I am getting the new Luis Fonsi album! Bye!

I Can't Sleep At Night

"I Can't Sleep At Night" is the title of Danni Minogue's upcoming single....and it's exactly how I felt last night! I had the worse case of insomnia and finally at 5am I decided just to get up and go to the gym before I went to work. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am not a morning person at all. I can easily sleep until noon so it was weird being at my gym at 6am. Hmmmm, I must say the early morning crowd is quite frightening. Once guy who looked like serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer kept staring at me. Then I got the shock of my life when I saw this anorexic girl that made made Karen Carpenter look fat! Omigod! I have seen people with eating disorders before but this woman was so skinny it was frightening. She could have been in a horror movie. It was awful. Has no one told her she looks like Skeletor???? oh well, I suppose it wasn't my place to say anything, but let me tell you it was very disturbing to even look at her. I pray she has some family looking after her.

Ugh, so now I am at my second job. It's another double shift today. At least things are never too hectic here. Obviously, since I am blogging right now, lol.

Oooh, I can't stop listening to the new Belanova album! This could easily be my favorite album of 2005. Sorry Shakira!

Beefaroni!

So my July 4th weekend sucked. This is the last time I agree to work 4 double shifts in a row. What was I thinking. I swear, since I returned from my vacation I feel like I haven't had time to breathe. I cannot wait for the weekend so I can relax.....and get drunk.

So needless to say, I did very little this weekend. I was bored to tears at work so that made things even worse. I must have read my People En Español magazine 500 times. I didn't mind though since Jaime Camil was on the cover. Grrrr! That man is beefaroni! He is so hot and I am so glad to see that after 3 years of being a hair and fashion victim he has finally cut his hair and about some decent clothes (or at least learned not to wear any at all!). I must say though, he seems like he is so full of himself. I do not have the magazine with me, but some of the things he says in the interview are jsut hilarious. He stars in Broadway and he thinks he is God's gift to entertainment. Um, whatever, just get naked! lol I am not too familiar with Jaime's acting skills, but I do have his 2001 album "Una Vez Mas". It's actually pretty good. His voice reminds me of Luis Miguel. Anyhoo, in honor of the numerous times I read that interview, I declare Jaime Camil Mr. Beefaroni of the week. Below is a scan from a recent photo shoot he did for the magazine Quien. I must thank my Milwaukee Sister for the picture though!

Omigod, I am a huge fan of the mexican elctro-pop group Belanova and not only was I shocked to see they haver their very own BLOG on blogspot (click on the link) BUT a friend of mine sent me an advance copy of their new album "Dulce Beat" so I don't have to wait for my copy to arrive from Mexico for another two weeks....umm, can we say FIERCE????? I have listend to the album 4 times already in the past 24 hours! This group is brilliant. I thought their previous album "Cocktail was perfection but they took things one step further by mixing in a little retro-synth/pop sounds. Now if only Fase could release a new album! But I hear they broke up :(
